Coastal Reconstruction Group, established in 1986, is celebrating 35 years of business helping clients rebuild, renovate, and recoup their investments. What began with the rebuilding of a Jacksonville, Florida, apartment complex — devastated by a Christmas Eve fire — has grown into a three generation, family-owned and operated business with an exceptional industry reputation. With corporate headquarters in Central Florida, Coastal continues to help clients with their general contracting needs and takes pride in providing clients fast response and direct access to ownership. No matter what situation you encounter, our clients and customers can get us on the phone.

Coastal Reconstruction Group offers its specialized services to the senior living, multi-family, hotel/resort, healthcare, insurance & restaurant industries, such as complete interior and exterior renovation, and disaster reconstruction and remediation.

When disaster strikes, Coastal responds swiftly, taking immediate action to mitigate your loss. We’ll cover your roof; board-up windows; remove debris; install security fencing; help to restore utility service; and begin to work with your insurer to quickly finalize the loss. In the meantime, we’ll start the permitting process so that reconstruction can begin as soon as possible. Our popular Rapid Response Program gives building owners and manager’s priority status – guaranteeing we’ll arrive within four hours of an emergency call.

Scott McCurdy

Owner

With more than 30 years of construction experience, Scott McCurdy has accumulated extensive industry knowledge – particularly in the area of property damage reconstruction. As owner of Coastal Reconstruction Group, he is active in more than 19 trade associations. Scott’s vast experience positions him as an expert resource on disaster recovery and building renovation. He regularly leads educational seminars for industry professionals on topics such as insurance mitigation, property renovation, disaster preparedness and remediation from wind, water, mold and fire.

Creston Leifried

President

Creston Leifried brings nearly 20 years of experience to the company and job site. He has worked almost every facet of the construction industry – from performing the actual labor, to sales and estimating, to now – leading and managing the operations of Coastal Reconstruction Group. Creston knows what it takes to get the job done and done well. He has built a team of individuals who work hard to represent Coastal Reconstruction Group with high integrity and remarkable workmanship. As part of the third generation of ownership, Creston is committed to uphold the family business’ core values, and make every job one to write home about. Creston resides in Chuluota, FL with his wife and two children. He is active in his church and is an avid outdoorsman.
